Wu-Tang Clan Wiki: Salary, Married, Wedding, Spouse, Family

The Wu-Tang Clan /?wu?tæ?/ is an American hip hop group from New York City, originally composed of East Coast rappers RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. The group was formed in (and is associated with) the New York City borough of Staten Island (U-God, Method Man, RZA, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon) (referred to by members as "Shaolin"), though some of their members are from Brooklyn (Ol Dirty Bastard, GZA, and Masta Killa). They are frequently joined by fellow American rapper and childhood friend Cappadonna, a quasi-member of the group. They have introduced and launched the careers of affiliated artists and groups, often collectively known as the Wu-Tang Killa Bees, and in 2008, About.com ranked them the No. 1 greatest hip hop group of all time, and stated "No weapon in hip-hop history can rival the chaotic cohesion of the Wu-Tang Clan. The Clan had so many characters, each with his own eccentricities. They were fearless in their approach. There's a good reason no group has been able to successfully recreate their sound. The crew spawned countless loosely associated acts. Their classic albums spawned classic albums." Kris Ex of Rolling Stone called Wu-Tang Clan "the best rap group ever." In 2004, NME hailed them as one of the most influential groups of the last ten years.

#Trademark
1Lyrics contain a mix of kung fu, comic book, and mafioso pop culture references, along with a dose of mystical 5% teachings
#Fact
1Favorite rap group of directors Jim Jarmusch and Quentin Tarantino.
2The Wutang was the first in the hiphop industry, under RZA's guidance in the early 90's, to secure solo album deals while maintaining a separate record deal as a group. The group was also one of the first to design and promote its own line of clothing, WuWear. These two formulas of record deals and clothing lines were duplicated by companies like Rocafella and G-Unit.
3The core group is extended into what are called wu-tang affiliates. They include successful but mostly underground acts Killarmy, Sunz of Man, Shyheim, La the Darkman, Gravediggaz, Theodore Unit, Ice Water Inc, Wu-Syndicate. RZA has a brother in Killarmy (9th prince) and a cousin in Sunz of Man (prodigal son). Furthermore, rapper Redman is very close to the clan, and Cappadonna, once an affiliate, is now a full fledge member.
4Members RZA and The GZA are advanced, trained chess players.
5The clan is made up RZA, The GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard.
